Family History Society celebrates 35th Anniversary

The Doncaster Family History Society is celebrating its 35th Anniversary, and this year its annual fair wil also include local heritage organisations, commercial businesses, craft stalls, demonstrations, and the 'Great War on Tour' exhibition.  There will also be two free talks: 'The Plant', a look at Doncaster's railway heritage, and, 'Green Men and Gargoyles.'

Parish records within the Doncaster Deaconry, including those of St Lawrence Church, Hatfield, have been transcribed by the FHS and will be available on the day.

Entry costs a pound and includes visit to the research centre. Under 14s get in free.
