Public warned against attempting to rescue deers stranded in local canals

South Yorkshire Fire Service has issued a warning after twice being called out to resuce deer stranded in canals near Stainforth and Mexborough only to find local people have already attempted rescues.  Station Manager, Simon Dillon, said, "People shouldn't be risking their lives by attempting rescues in this way."
