Doncaster Womens Centre becomes part of a national charity

Doncaster Womens Centre, which has been in existence for 23 years and is based on Cleveland Street, has been taken over by national charity Changing Lives, which specialises in working with vulnerable and hard to reach people in communities across the country.  

Womens Centre manager, Diane Derbyshire said, "We feel priviledged to be working with so many like-minded people.  The centre offers a variety of different services including counselling and works with women who have issues around sexual exploitation, mental health, substance abuse among others.
